If you’re anything like me, your task list is likely a mile long and growing daily. Even on the weekends, it seems like I cross one thing off my list and add three more. Rather than watching my list continue to grow, I decided that it’s time I do something about it and headed over to Fiverr.
Yes, I’ve heard the stories. Good and bad, both plentiful depending on who you ask.
But I need help. That’s all there is to it. So I started searching and learning about how their platform works. The different levels of sellers, delivery times, good/better/best options for each item you click, and so on.
With Fiverr‘s base rate of only $5 buckaroos you can run a low budget trial and error campaign to see which sellers you will work the best with to complete tasks in the long run.
I started with a simple backlink project. I needed to complete a number of them for clients, so I started ordering. Every seller offers something a little different and they deliver accordingly. From some I received a super simple .txt file that listed the most basic information, a link to actual backlink for verification. It was sufficient but nothing super impressive. From others, I received a nicely formatted Microsoft Excel document that listed not only where I could find the backlink but also included the associated domains, DA ranking, PA ranking, and more.
The actual backlink quality varied as well. Some sellers wrote actual content that was updated in a guest post format to high DA ranking websites, others created profiles on a slew of directories, and one simply used comments (all with confirmed do-follow links). Each type has value in their own ways but they are backlinks, nonetheless.
So here’s the lesson I learned… know exactly what you want for the deliverable and find a seller who is offering that exact product, in the turn-around time that you need.
Don’t forget that there’s nothing clearer than clarity!
Fiverr is one of many freelancer websites and not all of the gigs are offered for $5, but if you’re willing to put in a little effort and a few dollars – you can get a LOT of stuff done, FAST.
I’m saying goodbye to my forever long task list and hello to free time and happy clients. Thanks, Fiverr!
