Whether you’re a person or a business, it can be incredibly damaging. But, when you are a business, it’s essential to make sure that you’re protected as best as you can be, to not put your business or customers at risk. So, to help you to do that, let’s take a look at what makes you vulnerable.
Having Technology In The First Place
To start with, it’s important to address the idea of having technology and the risks that come with it. because malware is real and can be attached to a device or system whenever the internet is accessed – there is that possibility. So, the ‘it won’t happen to me’ attitude isn’t quite correct here.
A Network
At the same time, if you are connected to a network, you may be at risk. Putting your own firewalls in place is important to ensure that you’re deterring any threats and attacks. Simply having a network of web-enabled devices can be a risk.
Remote Access
When you consider some of the information that is listed in the below infographic, you can see that the ability to access a network or electronic devices remotely can be a risk. This is often how hackers get in. Therefore, it’s important to be vigilant here and ensure you’re protected.
